Offline LLM does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. There is no account, no analytics, and no server behind this app.

The short version
Offline LLM runs an AI language model directly on your device. Your conversations, documents, photos, and notes are processed on the device itself and never leave it. We — the developer — receive nothing. There is no backend service to receive anything.
Data we collect
None. Offline LLM contains no analytics framework, no crash reporting service, no advertising identifier, no tracking pixel, and no user accounts. We do not know that you installed the app, we do not know how you use it, and we have no way to read anything you write in it.
The app does not use the App Tracking Transparency framework because it does not track you across apps or websites, and it shares no data with third parties for advertising or measurement.
What stays on your device
Everything you create in the app is written to the app's own sandboxed storage on your device:

Downloaded model files are excluded from iCloud backup, because they are large and can be re-downloaded at any time. Your conversations, documents, and settings are included in your device backup if you have device backups enabled — that backup is between you and Apple, and we have no access to it.
Deleting the app
Deleting Offline LLM removes the app container and everything in it: every conversation, document, photo, memory entry, and downloaded model.
One item is deliberately kept: the date your free trial started is stored in the device keychain and survives deleting the app. This is the only reason it is stored there — so that reinstalling the app does not restart the trial. It is a single date. It contains no identifier, is never transmitted, and is not readable by any other app.
When the app uses the network
Offline LLM works fully offline once a model is downloaded. There are exactly three situations in which it opens a network connection, and none of them send anything you have written:
1. Downloading a model
Model files are downloaded from Hugging Face (huggingface.co and its content delivery network). This is an ordinary file download. No account is required and we send no identifying information with it. Hugging Face receives the request as its own service and processes it under its own privacy policy, over which we have no control.
2. Looking up model information
The app queries the public Hugging Face API for repository sizes, and — if you use the optional model browser — for search results matching the terms you type there. Search terms you enter in the model browser are sent to Hugging Face as the search query. Nothing from your chats, documents, or photos is ever included.
3. Purchases
Purchases and subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. Apple processes the payment and tells the app whether a valid purchase exists. We never see your name, email address, payment details, or Apple Account. Apple's handling of that transaction is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Your prompts, replies, documents, photos, and memory entries are never sent over the network by this app, under any circumstances, including when a network connection is available.
Device permissions
The app asks for access to your photo library only when you choose to attach a photo to a chat. The selected photo is analysed by a model running on your device and is stored only in the app's own storage. It is never uploaded.
Model output
The language models available in Offline LLM are third-party open-source models. In Advanced mode you may also load models of your own choosing from Hugging Face, which we neither review nor endorse.
Model output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or offensive, and should not be relied upon as professional, medical, legal, or financial advice. Because models run on your device, output is generated locally and is not reviewed or moderated by us. This is why the app carries a 17+ age rating.
Children
Offline LLM is not directed at children and is rated 17+. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone, of any age, because we do not collect data at all.
Your rights
Data protection law gives you rights to access, correct, export, and delete personal data held about you. We hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to disclose or delete. The data the app creates is on your device and under your control: you can delete individual conversations and documents in the app, or remove everything at once by deleting the app.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new date at the top. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
